The Explorers Club was founded in 1904 by a group of adventurous scientist that had a passion for the cultural oddities in the world. Members of The Explorers Club range from the first to the North Pole to the person who dived the deepest in the ocean. Despite all the formalities and awards, The Explorers Club was pretty much the original Titts Team! Every year at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, the members of the Explorers Club will gather for a meal that’s anything but ordinary. Each year they pick a historic explorer’s adventures to base the dinner off of, so dishes can range from roasted kangaroo to deep fried tarantula. At first glance this might seem like your average country club dinner, but take away the music and clothing and you have a bunch of pretty cool people at heart.
