Caught In the Act – by Casey

Some of yall might be using Google Street View to make it easier to find that hole-in-the-wall bar you’re going to this weekend.  Or maybe you’re just creepin’ in on your own house.  But I’m using it to find people getting caught doing weird shit on the Google Camera.

If you haven’t explored this part of The Innerwebz yet, Google Street View offers 360-degree, real life photos of nearly every street, highway, and back road all over the world.  Google sends a truck around with a massive satellite-sized camera on the back to capture photos of the world in which at one point, people were living their lives in real time.  But the fun part is catching people in the act doing god knows what…

You probably know about this girl, Azura Beebeejaun.  She was ten years old at the time and living in Middle Road, Worcester (UK) when she was caught in a perfect moment of coincidence.  Azura was playing with her friend when she fell.  Instead of getting back up, brushing herself off, and keeping it movin’, she decided to lay there and “play dead”.  I dunno.  Kids do weird things.  But this all happened right when the Google Street View car was rolling through her street.  She had no idea this happened until there was an uproar on The Intertron because Google Street View captured a photo of a supposedly dead girl lying in the streets.  Imagine their surprise when it was just Azura playing a trick on her friend.  Joke’s on yall!

This anonymous guy will always be known as Horse Boy.  He was spotted in Aberdeen, Scotland.  He was found by Russell Moffatt, a 50-year-old IT manager who was looking for an optician’s shop.  Looking at this Horse Boy only provides answers that beg more questions.  What is he doing?  Why is he just standing there?  Why is he wearing a horse mask?  Did he see the Google Street View car, run back home, get the mask, and pose for the camera, quietly hoping for Internet fame?  Or does he always walk around Scotland wearing a horse mask?  My brain hurts.

Holy aliens, Fox Mulder!!!  Looks like these guys are having a bit of trouble finding the mothership.  Spotted moseying around London, these aliens seem a bit lost in the shuffle of things.  Or perhaps they’ve just initiated an invasion?  The truth is out there.

Back in The States, more specifically Pittsburgh, PA, we’ve got these two dudes dressed up like samurais fighting to the death in a random patch of grass.  Trust me, I’m all about a good session of nerding out but daaaaang, yall win this round!!  You’ve been exposed!  Good luck getting girlfriends after this one.

Well, well, well!  What do we have here?!  Heads up, DC.  Looks like you’ve got a Sidewalk Pooper on ya hands.  Caught in the act on the 500 block of H St. NE, this dude’s straight gettin’ it IN.  Some may find this image particularly sad.  Not too sure if he’s homeless or if he just doesn’t give a shit (or does he? bong!) but unfortunately this is something you see in an urban area of the world.  But poop is always funny and I give you permission to engage in a little chuckle here.  I’m personally entertained by his classic yellow raincoat attire and the blurred out cat behind him who has seemed to take a particular interest in his defecation.
