DJ Skeet Skeet’s Dishlicker.com -By Emily

There’s a new social website of the foodie variety: dishlicker.com. The site is designed as a stream of images from contributors that users can “lick” if it appears appetizing. The site has yet to officially launch, but we’ve got a sneak preview for you. There are a surprising number of images for the limited number of invite-only contributors, some of which are familiar faces especially in the music world. Among them are Mr. Tittsworth himself, who has shared the Jelly Belly as featured in my last post for the new Uhall menu. It’s already been licked 13 times. Images range from simple to foodgasmic to slightly bizarre and are coming in from all over the world. There are boiled mantis prawns in Hong Kong, a hot dog slathered in alvocado, tomato, mayo & pickles in Santiago, a latte in Portland and a beautifully plated chocolate fondant in Munich. While many images are of exotic food near and far, some are just takeout burgers or grandpa’s homemade fried chicken. Some contributors don’t give enough details about their dish but if you are inquisitive you can post a comment and they will likely respond.

The site is the brainchild of foodie DJ Skeet Skeet, who also runs eatskeet.com. Skeet Skeet describes himself as “most notably a DJ but I spend a lot of time making tunes and art and perusing the streets of los angeles looking for cool furniture and drinking horchata.”

In the spirit of tittsworth.com I figured I’d share some pork dishes I found.
