PIGment wrap up -By Seannie Cameras

Exactly one week ago, we went in on one of our most grandiose plans yet:

“As the online epicenter for food, tattoos and oddities, Tittsworth.com is proud to announce PIGment – one of the weirdest culinary events we could dream up. Team members for this gastronomic adventure include Ba Bay, a new modern Vietnamese restaurant in Capitol Hill, EcoFriendly Foods, a celebrated agricultural advocate and farm, and of course our usual partners in crime at Tattoo Paradise.

The game plan: Bev Eggelston, founder of EcoFriendly foods, will donate local swine. Artists from Tattoo Paradise will then tattoo Wilbur the pig. No, you will not die or even poison yourself by eating tattooed pork, as participating artists are using all-natural cuttlefish ink (another EcoFriendly Foods contribution). Once the piglets are inked up, chef Nick Sharpe from http://www.babaydc.com/content/index.cfm" target="_blank">Ba Bay will prepare them in modern Vietnamese fashion: one course features pork mousse and egg yolk dumplings in broth with smoked hock and celery hearts. The tournament winner is you!”

Needless to say, the whole thing was a smash hit, and we could not have been more grateful for our collaborators. We’d also like to thank Brightest Young Things, and The Washington Citypaper for giving us some nice coverage of the event.

While we may still fighting off a food coma, with visions of future tattoo ideas dancing in our heads; we were able to get a bit of re-cap. If you were even a bit curious, it all went down like this:
