Boston Photo Roundup

Boston was a lot of fun! It was my second time playing at Good Life
and the best one yet, despite last time’s plant party Chinese new year
edition being full smash. Speaking of fellow yellow, i ate this as
soon as the plane landed: a bacon & egg brunch banh mi from
Myers+Chang.

So after digesting with our fam Jon from Hot Pink Delorean, we head
for the club as everyone mentions Doc Martin recently killing it
there. No pressure, but you better had come correct bama! I open up
with by going back and forth between Torro Torro’s blue blouse and the
Johnny Love’s acidic remix. just a couple more key records and i
could tell this was going to be a night where I could away with any
and everything. Goodlife’s basement is dark w/ low ceiling, has tons
of bass, very little light and a crowd isn’t afraid of tough beats or
grooves. Definitely a night to be topped as you can tell from the
pics:

Afterwards, we drove in the pouring to “frat row” to play at an after
party. A circuit blew before i could set up however they did have
this ice sculpture of an octopus! its tentacles melted before i could
eat them but i still think it’s rad as hell!:

Besides, who really needs an after
party when you have even one Hot Pink Delorean with you? Shout out to
my Boston fam, can’t wait to get back. I’m owed seafood but am by no
means disappointed. Jon’s amazing housemates were nice enough to make
me right at home with good cooking, great company and a proper
introduction to a TV show about this D&D lookin bama and cat whispers
with gadgets in a guitar case? I forgot the name of that show but i
will never forget that questionable facial hair or fashion sense!
